Your jewels are beautiful - they are art! I am an artist too, but still building my inventory to start my own website. Have you had a lot of success selling your works online? Moreso on your own site, or on EBay? I would love for you to see my work. Please let me know, and I will send you some photos :)

I'm new to beads. I've been researching them for about 6 weeks now, and of course have lots to learn. My first

beads from JustBeads popped through my letter box today. I've been carrying them around with me all the

time since! They visit4ed a friend with me too. What a priviledge to be sharing in all the wonderful talents of you

bead artists. (Couldn't get some of the jewellery photos to "open" when I clicked on them. It's not a concern for

me (probably my 'puter's fault), but thought I'd better mention it incase there is something not quite right on

your website.) Long story this one, isn't it! Morna (yellow mardi on JustBeads)

Love your work. I'm a member of the San Diego Polymer Clay Guild, and, unfortunately so far their most

unproductive one. When I first joined, having seen some work on the web one night (no clue what pc was) and

finding out there was a meeting nearby the next night--Syndee Holt invited me to join her hosting a table at the

Del Mar Fair. Even with that kind of luck I haven't yet done more than a couple of very easy beads. Once I get an

impending move out of the way, I'm going to plunge in. I may bid on some of your beads in the near future-- I'd

like to now, but this is the tightest month I've had in eons (I'm extremely ancient), hence the move. Hopefully, I'll

be able to soon. I was prompted to your site from your post on the Jewelrymaking forum. Thanks for the

link--your beads have the same kind of beauty that attracts us all to lampwork--without requiring selling off

your firstborn. Kathy

Darlene, your beads are breathtaking. I tried lampwork for several months, but pretty much failed. You can't

*touch* a lampwork bead while you're making it. A few months ago I fell madly in love with polymer. It's harder

than it looks, but it's such a pleasure to work with. But it appeared that on Ebay nobody buys anything but

lampwork. Then I stumbled on your beautiful beads. It can be done, and Darlene's doing it. thanks so much for

inspiring me by just being there.

I rarely comment on the sites I browse but I had to mention that I think your work is fabulous. I just started

working with Polymer clay 3 days ago and it's very frustrating. I do beadweaving with seedbeads and I was

interested in making my own dichroic pendants for center pieces but the cost for set up is too high so I thought

I would try this clay. I bought tons of supplies and equipment and they have sat for a year. I'm not mastering it

right away so I get discouraged. I'm not quitting, just frustrated. Anyway, I love your work, I wish you had some

lessons on your site. Thanks for sharing.
